Who we are
INU Media is a creative and marketing studio based in India. When this policy says “we”, it means INU Media; when it says “this site”, it means this website and any page on it.
If you want to reach a person about anything written here, write to us and a human will answer — the address is at the end of this page.
What we collect
What you send us. If you fill in the enquiry form or email us, we receive what you typed — your name, your email address, and whatever you chose to tell us about the project. Nothing more is taken from you than what you put in the box.
What the site measures. With your permission, we count page visits and which projects people open. This is aggregate, not a profile — it tells us that a page is confusing, not who you are.
What the server logs. Our host records standard technical data such as the request time and a truncated address, which is how any website on the internet stays online and defends itself.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to quote and deliver the work. That is a contractual purpose — we cannot reply to an enquiry without reading it.
To keep the site working and secure, which is our legitimate interest as the people running it.
To understand which work resonates, so the next version of this site is better than this one. That one is done only on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time from the footer.
Cookies and what they do
A cookie is a small piece of data a website leaves in your browser so it can remember something. We group ours into four purposes, and only the first is switched on without asking you.
Essential. Needed for the site to work at all — page navigation, security, remembering this very cookie choice and letting you send an enquiry. Nothing here identifies you for any other purpose, and the site cannot be offered without them.
Functional. Remembers preferences so the site behaves the way you left it — whether the cinematic soundtrack was playing, and which part of the portfolio you were last looking at.
Analytics. Helps us understand which projects and pages people actually look at, and where the site is confusing. Measurement only runs once you allow it.
Marketing. Lets us measure whether our advertising reaches the right people and show relevant INU Media work to visitors who have shown interest. No advertising or measurement tags load unless you allow this.
Your choice is recorded in this browser for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can change it whenever you like — the “Cookie settings” link sits in the footer of every page.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it for exposure.
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so the site can exist: our hosting provider, our email provider, and — only if you have allowed analytics or marketing — the measurement provider behind those cookies. They act on our instructions and for no other purpose.
We disclose information beyond that only if the law requires it of us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for three years afterwards, so that we can pick up an old thread and meet our own record-keeping obligations.
Cookie choices last twelve months. Analytics records are kept in aggregate and are not tied back to an individual.
When a purpose ends, the data for it goes.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or ask us to stop using it. Write to us and we will act on it — there is no form to fight through.
You can withdraw a cookie permission at any moment without giving a reason, and refusing the optional ones costs you nothing: the site works the same.
If we have got something wrong and cannot resolve it with you, you are entitled to complain to your data protection authority.
